  I'm a military veteran with government issued ID but was refused a veterans discount because I don't have a my Lowe's card. I refuse to give my phone number and email to them. So as a United States Army veteran I was discriminated against just because I refuse to give up my personal information to them. Where is the accountability with a my Lowe's card? I Can give it to anyone to use. So much for my DD214 I worked so hard to get

  I was shopping for a new refrigerator and originally went to Lowes in Durham off William Penn Dr. The service at that particular Lowes was beyond awful. The person in appliances was incompetent and acted as though me being there was a huge inconvenience to her. I asked if the Lowes in Roxboro had the fridge in stock. She called and they did...I drove up to Roxboro and was greeted by Nick in appliances...he had the fridge all packaged up and ready to go out the door. Turns out my measurements were off and this particular fridge didn't fit. No problem...Nick helped me with getting another fridge (and microwave). The second fridge was too small....wife was less than pleased. Once again reliable Nick to the rescue....he told me I had 30 days to return (I had to perform some retrofitting to the kitchen in order to get the original fridge to fit. Can't speak highly enough about the outstanding customer service we received from Nick. If you need new appliances I strongly suggest you go to Lowes in Roxboro and ask for Nick. He is my new go to guy whenever I need new appliances.
